What is YMMOR?

The Young Mathematicians in Model Order Reduction conference aims at bringing together early career researchers working in Model Order Reduction and other related fields. The main focus of the conference is to foster scientific exchange and networking among PhD students, master students, and early postdocs. Following the great success of the past four editions of YMMOR in Münster, YMMOR in Ulm, YMMOR in Stuttgart and YMMOR in Trieste, we are pleased to announce that the 2026 edition of YMMOR will be held in the US for the very first time.

Conference Format

The conference will be held in person, and every participant is expected to give a talk about their research or a topic of interest in the field of Model Order Reduction. We encourage participants to apply for a talk even if they do not have a completed project yet. The goal of the conference is to provide a platform for early career researchers to present their work, exchange ideas, and receive feedback from their peers. In order to facilitate communication between different subtopics, we plan to have introductory talks on general topics where participants introduce basic concepts in their fields.
